SCALPIK® DP 283 NG is a high-performance liquid paint stripper designed for hot-bath immersion. This versatile product effectively removes a wide range of coatings, including epoxy, epoxy-polyester, polyester, alkyd (glycerophthalic), vinyl, acrylic, and silicone cataphoretic paints. Its formulation, based on low-volatility biodegradable solvents, delivers powerful stripping while minimising health and environmental risks. SCALPIK® DP 283 NG dissolves resins and disperses paint pigments for thorough, in-depth cleaning. The product is ready-to-use and requires no dilution.

- SCALPIK® DP 283 NG is ready to use – no dilution needed.
- Pour the product into the stripping tank.
- Immerse the parts to be stripped in the bath.
- Leave the parts in the bath until all paint layers are completely removed.
- Remove stripped parts and rinse thoroughly with pressurised water (ideally).
SCALPIK® DP 283 NG uses biodegradable solvents to dissolve resins and disperse pigments, effectively stripping a wide range of coatings such as epoxy, epoxy-polyester, polyester, glycerophthalic, silicone cataphoretic, vinyl, and more.
This product does not attack steel substrates and is particularly suitable for aluminum profiles. It should be used undiluted in a hot bath heated to between 50–90°C for optimal performance. Do not add water, as this may make the solution corrosive to aluminum.
