SCALP SEAL

SCALP SEAL is a refined petroleum-based anti-evaporation oil, specifically designed for use in chemical pickling baths. During stripping, paint strippers have a natural tendency to evaporate, resulting in product loss and reduced efficiency. SCALP SEAL solves this problem by forming a protective layer on the bath surface, greatly limiting evaporation.

Thanks to its high density, this product rises to the surface of the bath and acts as a physical barrier, preventing vapors from escaping. It is important to note that SCALP SEAL does not interact chemically with the paint stripper: it has no activating or penetrating properties. It acts only as a passive stabilizer, maintaining the stripper’s effectiveness over time.

SCALP SEAL is a ready-to-use product, easy to apply and compatible with most industrial bath stripping processes.

Ready-to-use product : No dilution required before application.

Bath dosing : Pour SCALP SEAL directly into the stripping bath, at a rate of 5-10% of the total stripper volume. The product rises naturally to the surface.

Protective action : The oil layer formed on the surface acts as an anti-evaporation barrier, without interfering with the stripper’s effectiveness.

SCALP SEAL is used during bath stripping operations, particularly when baths are exposed to open air or prolonged ambient temperatures.

  • Ready-to-use product, no dilution or mixing required
  • Recommended use rate: between 5% and 10% of total bath volume
  • Optimum adjustment to 5% to ensure continued effectiveness
  • Bath temperature must remain at room temperature
  • Passive product, with no effect on the chemical reactivity of the stripper
