SCALP is a family-owned French company with over 70 years of expertise in the formulation of technical solutions. Since its creation, the company has continued to develop, innovate and broaden its know-how to meet the needs of professionals in the building, industry and transport sectors.

A history built on innovation and growth :
1950
The company is founded under the name Comptoir Commercial des Peintures.
1952
The company changes its name to SCALP SAS: Société Commerciale d'Approvisionnement en Varnis et Peintures.
2000
Since 2000, SCALP has been a member of the Union des Industries Chimiques, which promotes the competitiveness and development of the chemical industry and its applications in France and at regional, national and European level.
2005
ISO 9001 certified.
2010
Acquisition of MARGER, specialized in technical products for the building industry.
2012
Integration of HYPRED, a recognized player in the manufacture and distribution of solutions for industry.
2013
Acquisition of the business (excluding paint) of SIPC, based in Bagnolet.
2023
Launch of a structured CSR policy focused on eco-responsibility, safety and sustainable performance.
2024
Start of modernization of packaging lines, for greater productivity and industrial flexibility. Implementation of a state-of-the-art information system, to support the company's growth and digitalization.
2025
Continued digital transformation, in line with new market requirements and customer commitments.
