Aluminium & stainless steel cleaner & passivator – SCALPINOX D
SCALPINOX D is a professional aluminium and stainless steel cleaner designed to restore the original appearance of metal surfaces while preparing them for coating or further treatment. It effectively removes oxidation, tarnish and atmospheric deposits caused by urban pollution, leaving surfaces clean, bright and fully restored.
Specially recommended for anodised aluminium window frames and joinery, this solution also provides passivating, rust-removing and phosphating action, creating an optimal bonding base for paint systems and surface treatments.
By activating and stabilising metal substrates, SCALPINOX D improves coating adhesion and supports long-lasting renovation, refurbishment and maintenance work across construction and finishing applications.

- Homogenize SCALPINOX D well before use.
- Apply neat for aluminum rust and phosphate removal, or dilute 1:1 (50%) for bath application to achieve a phosphating effect.
- Allow to act for 5–10 minutes, depending on the level of soiling.
- Rub gently with a non-abrasive brush or sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean, cold pressurized water.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
- Restores a bright, renewed finish to tarnished aluminum joinery.
- Prepares aluminum and stainless steel for painting or further treatment.
- Not suitable for calcareous or non-metallic surfaces.
- Can be used for bath phosphating to treat rust traces.
