SCALPEX® A1
SCALPEX® A1 is a hot-bath paint stripper and heavy-duty descaler specifically formulated for treating steel and cast iron components. This immersion stripper is highly effective at removing paint, metal oxides and combustion residues from metal parts. It provides a complete cleaning and restoration solution for metallic surfaces, while remaining safe for use on steel, refractory steels and cast iron.
It must not be used on aluminium, copper or zinc alloys.

- Fast and efficient cleaning of metal surfaces
- Dilute SCALPEX® A1 at 50% volume-to-volume (v/v) with water.
- Fill the hot bath with the diluted product.
- Immerse the parts to be stripped.
- Leave the parts in the bath until all paint layers or deposits have fully dissolved.
- Remove the parts and rinse thoroughly with water.
SCALPEX® A1 is recommended for paint stripping, degreasing, descaling and deoxidising metal parts made of steel and cast iron—particularly components from combustion engines. Its hot-bath action ensures excellent results even on the most stubborn coatings.
The formulation contains biodegradable surfactants combined with deoxidation and scale removal accelerators. SCALPEX® A1 is safe on steel, refractory steels and cast irons but must never be used on aluminium, copper or zinc alloys, which it will corrode.
