Elastic roof & gutter waterproofing membrane – SCALP WATERPROOF BARRIER
SCALP WATERPROOF BARRIER is a hybrid elastic membrane for roofs and gutters designed to provide durable waterproofing and structural protection. Its fibrous paste formula forms a seamless, flexible, and non-sticky waterproof barrier that effectively seals cracks, prevents water ingress, and withstands harsh weather conditions.
This advanced waterproof roof membrane adapts to structural movement without cracking, ensuring reliable long-term performance even under UV exposure, heavy rain, and temperature fluctuations.
Suitable for a wide range of substrates including PVC, galvanised steel, and iron, this versatile waterproof coating protects roofs, gutters, terraces, cornices, pipework, and chimney bases without requiring additional finishing coats.

Surface Preparation
- Apply directly to clean, dry surfaces.
- For iron substrates, remove rust and degrease before applying an anti-rust primer.
- For galvanised steel or iron, degrease before application.
Step 2 — Application
Ensure the substrate is free from dust, grease, mud, or debris. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry, then apply SCALP WATERPROOF BARRIER evenly.
Step 3 — Recoating
Apply a second coat if required after 12–24 hours, depending on ambient temperature.
Drying time: approximately 4 hours (touch dry).
- Ready-to-use product
- Ideal application temperature: 5°C to 40°C
- Store away from frost and heat in original sealed packaging
- Shelf life: 6 months from manufacturing date (in original, sealed container)
- Clean tools immediately with water after use
