AQUAFUGE® 18
AQUAFUGE® 18 is a professional-grade, colourless water-repellent treatment specifically developed for the long-lasting protection of porous mineral substrates such as bluestone, limestone, concrete, cement, fibre cement, and lime-based materials. Its high penetration capacity forms an invisible, breathable barrier that prevents water ingress while preserving the substrate’s appearance.
Particularly suitable for bluestone — a premium material widely used for façades and flooring — AQUAFUGE® 18 shields surfaces from moisture, freeze–thaw cycles, water penetration, urban grime, and biological growth. Its water-repellent action helps prevent substrate deterioration and significantly extends the lifespan of materials.

- Homogenise AQUAFUGE® 18 thoroughly before use.
- Apply from bottom to top until the surface is fully saturated.
- Apply one or two coats, leaving 5–10 minutes between each coat.
Avoid overapplication, which may cause runs or visible marks. - Water-repellent performance becomes effective once the product is fully dry — typically within a few hours.
- Highly recommended for bluestone due to its powerful protective action.
- Not recommended for substrates such as porous brick or clay tiles where appearance may be altered.
- Apply only to clean, sound, and preferably dry surfaces.
- Application should be carried out in dry conditions at temperatures between 5°C and 50°C.
- Water-repellent protection becomes effective as soon as AQUAFUGE® 18 is completely dry (within several hours).
