Bluestone & stone walls Water Repellent – AQUAFUGE® 18

AQUAFUGE® 18 is a professional-grade, colourless water repellent specifically developed for waterproofing stone walls and protecting porous mineral surfaces such as bluestone, limestone, concrete, cement, fibre cement and lime-based materials.

Its advanced penetrating formula creates an invisible, breathable barrier that prevents water ingress while maintaining the natural appearance and porosity of the substrate. Ideal for both renovation and new construction projects, it provides reliable long-term protection against moisture-related damage.

  1. Homogenise AQUAFUGE® 18 thoroughly before use.
  2. Apply from bottom to top until the surface is fully saturated.
  3. Apply one or two coats, leaving 5–10 minutes between each coat.
    Avoid overapplication, which may cause runs or visible marks.
  4. Water-repellent performance becomes effective once the product is fully dry — typically within a few hours.
  • Highly recommended for bluestone due to its powerful protective action.
  • Not recommended for substrates such as porous brick or clay tiles where appearance may be altered.
  • Apply only to clean, sound, and preferably dry surfaces.
  • Application should be carried out in dry conditions at temperatures between 5°C and 50°C.
  • Water-repellent protection becomes effective as soon as AQUAFUGE® 18 is completely dry (within several hours).
