ACTIVATOR SCALPIK L12S
SCALPIK L12S ACTIVATOR is a technical additive designed for use as a complement to a SCALPIK L12S-based pickling bath. This product has no stripping power of its own, but is formulated to restore the efficiency of the stripping bath when it begins to lose performance.
In fact, chlorinated paint strippers like SCALPIK L12S are subject to evaporation during use, notably due to frequency of use, bath temperature or air contact surface. SCALPIK L12S ACTIVATOR compensates for this loss of power by restoring the bath’s properties

Pour ACTIVATOR SCALPIK L12S into the pickling tank already containing SCALPIK L12S.

The dose to be added varies according to the condition of the bath. It can vary from 10% to 30% of the total weight of the product to be adjusted.
ACTIVATOR SCALPIK L12S is used exclusively as a complement to SCALPIK L12S. It should only be added when the pickling power of the bath is reduced. This stripping bath additive is not a stripper in itself, but acts as a reactivator, compensating for losses linked to the evaporation of chlorinated solvents during bath use.

During stripping, paint strippers have a natural tendency to evaporate, resulting in product loss and reduced efficiency. SCALP SEAL solves this problem by forming a protective layer on the bath surface, greatly limiting evaporation.
Thanks to its high density, this product rises to the surface of the bath and acts as a physical barrier, preventing vapors from escaping. It is important to note that SCALP SEAL does not interact chemically with the paint stripper: it has no activating or penetrating properties. It acts only as a passive stabilizer, maintaining the stripper's effectiveness over time.
