SCALP SAS Awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal
At SCALP SAS, an innovative French company specialising in technical solutions for cleaning, paint stripping, and material protection across the building, transport, and industrial sectors, we are proud to announce that the EcoVadis Bronze Medal has been awarded to us. This recognition highlights our concrete commitments to corporate social and environmental responsibility. Furthermore, it marks a significant milestone in our sustainable development strategy. Beyond the distinction itself, the medal sends a strong signal to our entire ecosystem, including customers, partners, suppliers, employees, and institutions.
EcoVadis: a demanding international Bbnchmark
EcoVadis is currently the most widely recognised CSR assessment platform globally. To date, more than 100,000 companies across 175 countries have been evaluated. Consequently, it has become an essential standard, particularly within the construction, industrial, chemical, distribution, and public procurement sectors.
The assessment is based on 21 criteria grouped into four main pillars:
Environment :
As a designer of technical solutions, SCALP SAS integrates environmental considerations from the R&D phase. Our goal is to reduce the impact of our products on both people and the planet, without compromising performance. In addition, we focus on developing low-impact formulations as alternatives to toxic or polluting products. Moreover, industrial processes are optimised to limit emissions and reduce both water and energy consumption. Finally, a strict waste sorting system ensures appropriate recycling and recovery streams.
Social & human rights :
In a sector where safety and working conditions are crucial, SCALP SAS is committed to providing a healthy, stable, and rewarding environment for employees. For example, our HR policy promotes equal opportunities and inclusion.Additionally, we implement measures to guarantee the safety of teams on site and in the laboratory. Continuous technical training programmes are also provided, strengthening professional skills in line with regulatory and technological developments.
Ethics :
Regulatory compliance is a daily requirement in our business activities. SCALP SAS goes further with a broader ethical commitment:
- Implementation of an anti-corruption policy and an internal whistleblowing system.
- Strict compliance with applicable standards, particularly in the manufacture, storage and distribution of our products.
- A corporate culture based on exemplary behaviour, clarity of commitments and mutual respect.
Responsible purchasing :
SCALP SAS ensures that its purchasing policy reflects its CSR commitments:
- Selection of responsible suppliers, particularly for chemical raw materials and packaging.
- Preferred collaboration with local and certified partners to strengthen the positive impact on the economic fabric.
- Integration of CSR criteria into tendering and supplier approval processes.
Recognition based on concrete evidence :

The award of the Bronze Medal to SCALP SAS is based on an in-depth analysis of official documents: internal policies, quantified indicators, action plans, audits and signed commitments.
Our practices were benchmarked against the best market standards through a strict and standardised methodology. As a result, SCALP SAS ranks among the top 35% of the highest-rated companies worldwide, across all industries.
A lever for differentiation and competitiveness :
In an environment where economic performance can no longer be dissociated from sustainable performance, this distinction represents a genuine competitive advantage.
For our customers: solid guarantees
The EcoVadis Medal enables us to meet increasingly stringent requirements from contracting authorities, particularly in public tenders or environmentally focused markets. It provides objective proof of our commitment and strengthens trust and transparency in commercial relationships.
For our partners and suppliers: a responsible value chain
We have integrated CSR criteria into our purchasing and supplier selection processes. This medal structures and legitimises this approach, with a clear intention: to co-build sustainable, transparent and ethical relationships.
For our employees: an engaged working environment
Our teams are at the heart of our success. This CSR recognition reinforces our internal actions in terms of workplace well-being, skills development, safety, diversity and social dialogue. We want every employee to be proud to contribute to a responsible corporate project.
For our brand image: a clear positioning
In a context of ecological, societal and regulatory transition, it is no longer enough to produce efficiently; it is necessary to produce differently, better and more sustainably. This medal demonstrates our ability to innovate, anticipate and align with the major transformations currently underway.
A structured, measurable and managed CSR strategy
At SCALP SAS, CSR is not limited to a charter; it is an operational strategy, integrated at every level of our activity, from product design to logistics.
Examples of concrete actions:
- Eco-design: integration of environmental impact considerations from the product development stage.
- Reduction of hazardous substances: a proactive approach to replacing or eliminating the most impactful components.
- Energy optimisation of our production site in Pavillons-sous-Bois.
- Development of responsible product ranges: solvent-free, biodegradable, bio-based products with low VOC emissions.
- Monitoring of our CSR indicators through an internal management and continuous improvement system.
- Training and awareness-raising of staff on environmental and societal issues.
What’s next? Target: the Gold Medal
The Bronze Medal is a marker of progress, but our ambition goes further. We have already launched a structured CSR improvement plan, with quantified objectives and clear milestones for the coming months.
SCALP SAS CSR objectives to achieve the EcoVadis Gold Medal:
- A 20% reduction in non-recovered industrial waste by 2026, through enhanced sorting actions, substitution of raw materials and improved stock management.
- Deployment of an eco-design charter to systematically integrate environmental criteria from the R&D phase onwards.
- A 20% reduction in energy consumption at our production site within three years, supported by a concrete action plan: replacement of energy-intensive equipment, consumption monitoring, etc.
- Zero-accident objective, supported by an enhanced safety training plan and monthly monitoring indicators.
- Integration of a CSR module into every internal training plan, to raise awareness among all employees of these issues.
- Formalisation of a diversity and inclusion charter, with objectives to improve gender balance and the integration of individuals distant from employment.
- A target of 50% local suppliers or suppliers engaged in a certified CSR approach by 2026.
These structuring objectives mark a new stage for SCALP SAS. Our ambition is clear: to make CSR not merely a label, but a lever for sustainable and shared performance, for our customers, our teams, our industry and our planet.
We thank our teams, partners and customers for their contribution to this momentum. Together, we are working towards a more responsible, safer and higher-performing industrial future.
