SCALPIK® L 12 S
SCALPIK® L12S is an additivated liquid stripper, specially formulated for cold-dip stripping of the most common paints and varnishes used in construction andindustry. Thanks to its action through successive layer penetration, this stripper effectively removes coatings from the treated substrate, even when they are multi-layered or strongly adherent.
When used in a cold bath, SCALPIK® L12S requires no heating, simplifying the process while offering excellent efficiency. This non-saturating product allows continuous use: simply remove any paint residues that have fallen to the bottom of the tank and adjust the level to maintain the performance of the stripping bath.
- Stripping by immersion in a cold bath
- Does not saturate
- Strips a wide range of paints and varnishes
- Acts by penetration
Step 1
Pour SCALPIK® L12S into the pickling tank.
Step 2
Tip the parts to be pickled into the bath.
Step 3
Allow sufficient time for paint layers to be stripped.
Step 4
Remove parts from bath and high-pressure clean.
SCALPIK® L12S effectively dissolves both thin and thick layers of paint. Its action time is adjustable, ranging from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the nature and thickness of the coating.
This stripper is particularly suited to parts with complex geometries, thanks to its ability to penetrate into the smallest nooks and crannies for complete removal of residues.
