OXALIC ACID

OXALIC ACID is an acid neutralizing, brightening and oxidizing agent, used by immersion after basic stripping. Thanks to its professional formula, it neutralizes, brightens and oxidizes surfaces, especially wood, restoring their natural appearance. This in-depth treatment ensures even, effective lightening, without altering the material, guaranteeing a clean, crisp finish. For optimum effectiveness, the product should be diluted 10-20% in water, then mixed to obtain a ready-to-use solution. Its ease of use combined with its performance make it a must-have solution for professionals seeking long-lasting aesthetic results.

  • Use after basic stripping

Step 1: Prepare the solution

Dilute OXALIC ACID at a rate of 10-20% in water, depending on the desired effect. Mix well until a homogeneous solution is obtained.

Step 2: Immerse parts

Plunge the parts to be neutralized directly into the prepared bath. Make sure the entire surface is immersed.

Step 3: Leave to act

Leave the substrate to soak for the time required for neutralization. This time depends on the material, initial condition and type of stripping performed.

Step 4: Dry

Remove parts and allow to dry naturally. No rinsing is necessary if the procedure is correctly followed.

Precautions for use :

  • Never mix OXALIC ACID with a strong oxidizer, due to its acidic oxidizing nature.
  • This product is for professional use only.
  • Personal protective equipment must be worn: gloves, safety goggles, suitable clothing.

OXALIC ACID is a neutralizing, brightening and oxidizing product used exclusively in immersion, after basic or alkaline stripping. This post-stripping treatment is essential for restoring the natural appearance of substrates, particularly wood, while ensuring effective chemical neutralization.

OXALIC ACID is particularly recommended for:

  • Deeply stripped wood, requiring homogeneous brightening,
  • Surfaces that have undergone alkaline stripping, requiring chemical neutralization,
  • Wood substrates for which controlled whitening or brightening is desired.

Thanks to its specific formulation, OXALIC ACID removes residues after stripping while brightening wood without altering its structure. It acts deep down, providing reliable neutralization with effective oxidizing properties.
